WWE and TNA 2014 year review part 3

After WM, WWE went in a different direction. Probably due to injuries. Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, Ryback. Plus they fired alot of people too. Alberto del Rio, Drew McIntyre, the real Sin Cara etc.
Maybe the later is because of the launch of the WWE network. I don't know if that is true. It would be odd if they fired alot of people very shortly after the network was launched. And it wasn't launched all around the world. So the network not being "successful" is reason to get rid of personnel? Doesn't make sense to me. But let's move on to the rise and fall of 2 Paul Heyman guys. Brock Lesnar and Cesaro.

Let's start with Cesaro. I thought after WM 30. That Cesaro would get more of a push. Being a Paul Heyman guy and all. But really nothing changed for Cesaro. His robe changed color, he added a bigger towel and got new entrance music. But as far as winning more matches or championships. Not so much. Hell I think he lost more matches with Heyman than without him.  Which is too bad cause he's one of the best wrestlers in the WWE.'

It's no secret. That I am not a fan of Lesnar being champion. Not because I don't like him. But because he's a part timer. He has missed a couple of PPVs and several RAWs. So we've been without a champion on TV for longer than I care for.  But WWE wants him to be their guy. Maybe he's got a movie coming out....? I don't know. But I do know that Seth better cash that MITB contract in sooner rather than later. Cause he only has until July. Which sounds far away, but Lesnar may show up 5-10 times between now and then.

WWE and TNA 2014 year review part 2

The yes movement. Possibly the best audible that WWE has done. With no CM Punk. Daniel Bryan took his place. He didn't win the Rumble but he found his way in to 2 matches at WM 30.  Again great writing and it was the best option. Fans wanted Bryan to be champion and they would get it. More on that later.

Let's move on to the WWE tag team division for a second. There's something that's new a tag team division. And a good one? Wow. Just kidding WWE has had a pretty descent tag team division. Especially with the factions that they've had in the last year. Surprisingly enough. They didn't play hot potato with the tag team titles, like they did in the attitude era. They haven't had new tag teams. They did put two wrestlers together and give them a name, that doesn't make a tag team in my opinion. Tag teams should have chemistry and work well together. Rybaxel didn't have any of those things. The Rhodes brothers worked well together, but didn't go together because they were so different. Until, Star Dust was born and joined Gold dust in a tag team. Now they are both on the same page. A weird page, but it works and they are champions.

This year they have had great tag team matches/feuds. The Usos and Wyatts, The Wyatts and The Shield. Gold/Stardust and the Usos and of course 3MB. 3MB? I guess I have to count them. They were a faction/tag team. I don't think they won a match all of 2014. I'm probably wrong about that. Anyway let's move on to WM 30.

WM 30. Possibly the best/worst WM in awhile. Why do I say that. Well let's start with the good. The opening was fantastic, with Hogan, Austin, and The Rock. Great stuff. It would've been better if Bret Hart and Shawn Micheals joined them. But we didn't have time for that. Staying on the positive side; D. Bryan had 2 good matches and became champion. AWESOME. But then we have the worst part. Of course that would be Brock Lesnar def. The Undertaker. For no good reason. So disappointing.

WWE and TNA 2014 year review part 1

It has been an interesting year.  I guess every year is interesting with highs and lows. Wrestling is no different. There were a lot of both, possibly more lows than highs.  To the best of my ability, I will try to recap 2014 for both TNA and WWE. Not too much cause I don't want these posts to be to wordy.

Let's start with the first part of the year. We had a single WWE world heavyweight champion. Randy Orton. Who was the golden boy of the Authority, and the face of the WWE. Despite all of that he probably wasn't the most popular WWE superstar, nor was John Cena. No that would be either CM Punk or Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan popularity was white hot...but he was in a feud with Bray Wyatt that resulted in Bryan joining the Wyatt family for about 2 weeks and then it ended all of sudden. And what happened to CM Punk? Well you probably remember that. Of course going into the Rumble. A lot of fans wanted either CM Punk or Daniel Bryan to win. But neither of those men won the rumble.

Batista won the Royal Rumble which was disappointing and the crowd voiced that opinion. Actually they booed Batista and Rey Mysterio. Who boos Rey Mysterio? And of course not long after that CM Punk exited stage left and wasn't seen on WWE again. Which this is the part were I believe writing said "now what?" CM Punk leaving WWE, threw a huge wrench into WWE plans. I don't have conformation on that, but I'm sure they had him doing something major. But when he left that all changed. And at this point I think the YES movement was born.

WWE Survivor Series 2014 predictions

It's hard to believe that the WWE title isn't up for grabs on one of the biggest PPV for WWE. But I did say that this would happen if Brock Lesnar became champion. But I won't talk about that. It's time to make some predictions for this PPV.

AJ def. Nikki Bella (unless AJ is leaving WWE tomorrow)
Team  Paige def Team Neithart
Bray Wyatt def. Dean Ambrose
Star and Gold dust def. et. al (look it up)
Team Cena def. Team Authority.

I know there has got to be more than 5 matches. There will probably be some filler match. Heath Slater vs....ummm. I don't know, but I'm sure they'll have some kind of filler. You know it would be nice if we had a WWE title match....I'm just saying.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2014 predictions

Just off the top. Why isn't the WWE champion defending his title on this PPV?!?! I don't want to go on a rant about that....for now. I can't say that I'm looking that forward to this PPV. Sure it's HiaC, but it's matches that we've all seen before. How many times have we seen Randy Orton vs. John Cena?
A lot. Hell that's how we ended 2013 and how we started 2014.  The PPV could be better than I'm thinking, I hope so. It's a little sad that the match I'm looking forward to the most is Cesaro vs. Ziggler. Anyway here are my predictions.

1) Paige def AJ
2) Rusev def Big Show
3) Star/Goldust def The Usos
4) Cesaro def Ziggler
5) Cena def Orton
6) Ambrose def Seth Rollins
7) Sheamus def Miz

WWE SummerSlam 2014 predictions

The summer is almost over...unfortunately. But at least there is SummerSlam...somehow, that doesn't make me feel better. Not because of the card of the PPV tonight. But the possible outcome of the main event. Of course I am talking about Lesnar vs. Cena. If Brock wins, will he be around to defend the title? Probably not. We probably wouldn't see him again until Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble. That's 3-5 months without a WWE title defense. That would suck and WWE would suffer for that.  Hopefully that won't be the case.  But let's move on to the predictions.

1) RVD def. Cesaro
2) Stephanie def Brie (with outside interference from another diva possibly Beth Phoenix)
3) Roman Reigns def Randy Orton
4) Seth Rollins def Dean Ambrose
5) Bray Wyatt def Jericho
6) Miz def Dolph Ziggler
7) AJ def Paige
8) Jack Swagger def Rusev
9) John Cena def Brock Lesnar

The Rise and Fall of TNA....???

If you're reading this then you may have heard that Spike TV has severed ties with TNA wrestling. Which means that Impact wrestling will no longer be on TV later this year.  This unfortunately  could be the final nail in the coffin of TNA wrestling. But, not all hope is lost. I only say that because it is very possible that TNA could get another TV contract deal.  I don't know what TV channel would want to pick up TNA. MTV or MTV2. But Spike, MTV, and MTV2 are all owned by Viacom. So TNA may have a harder time getting another TV deal than I originally thought.
Why did I title this article "The rise and fall of TNA"? Well this situation reminds me of what happened to the original ECW. For those who don't know, ECW was on a network called TNN. TNN canceled ECW and shortly there after ECW folded. TNN is now known as Spike TV. Yea....hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.

Sting Vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31...?

It has been rumored for awhile that Sting would take on the Undertaker at a WM at some point in time. Now I'm not sure if this was ever based on any kind of fact or not. It seems that it was a dream match that people wanted to see. Now with the announcement of Sting being in WWE 2K15, it seems that dream match may come true. I just saw it mentioned on facebook yesterday. But I gotta be honest. I don't really want that to happen, if it was 2002...maybe. But it is not.
I'm not sure why Sting would want to have a match with Undertaker in the first place. Maybe he wants his WM moment? Maybe he wants one more match so he can go out on top...? I don't know. But let's think about this. By the time WM 31 gets here. Both men will be in their 50s. I wouldn't expect much from either wrestler. Can they still go? Sure. Will it be the best match in WM history? I doubt it. And there wouldn't be anything on the line. The streak is over(ugh), there is no title defense, and the build up would be short because Taker doesn't come around until a month before WM.
It just reminds me of other matches like Hogan vs. Warrior II or Lesnar vs. Goldberg. They sound good on paper, but they couldn't live up to the hype.

Terri's MITB Predictions 2014

Well, well, well, it's me! Long time, no post! My MITB Predictions are posted below. This is hard to call. I've heard information about BNB being injured and not being able to compete so I don't know how that will sway things in that match. The championship match ought to be good because so many of the people don't seem "ready" to be champ, at least by the standards that we have seen WWE do in the past. Should make for a good PPV.

As normal who I want to win and who I predict will win are typically different:
MITB Championship Match
I want-Roman Reigns
Prediction-Randy Orton

MITB Contract Match
I want-Kofi Kingston
Prediction-Bad News Barrett was my prediction but since the injury I'll say Dolph Ziggler

Layla v Summer Ray
I want-Layla
Prediction-Summer Ray

Big E v Rusev
I want-Big E
Prediction-Rusev

Rhodes Brothers v Rybaxel
I want-Rhodes Brothers
Prediction-Rhodes Brothers

Naomi v Paige
I want-NAOMI!!!! but I think Cameron will interfere and break up the Funkadactals
Prediction-Paige

WWE Money in the bank 2014 predictions

This may be one of the hardest PPVs to predict. I really have no idea who is going to win either MITB matches. I'm not sure WWE will take a chance, or they will go their regular guys i.e. John Cena or Randy Orton. So I'm going to take a few shots in the dark and hope that I'm right.

1) Rusev def. Big E.
2) Stardust/Golddust def. Rybaxel
3) Summer Ray def. Layla
4) Paige def. Naomi
5) MITB winner Seth Rollins
6) New Champion: John Cena

ROH Best in the World 2014

I don't know how long it's been since I've blogged about ROH.  Unfortunately it's not on in the state that I live, but with PPV all things are possible. And this was ROH first ever live PPV on TV. How did it stack up? Extremely well. ROH delievers something that the other two companies do not. What is that? Innovation. I don't mean innovation as far as storylines. I mean innovation inside the ring.  If you've been watching wrestling for decades like myself. You want to see something different, something new, something fresh. This PPV didn't waste your time with filler or a lot of talking. There was a short interview with a new talent that they signed, but that was it.
I guess I haven't talked about the matches, well if you hadn't already figured it out. I enjoyed all the matches. Some were better than others, but as far as picking a favorite match. I'm not sure I could pick just one. Maybe the first one, but then again the main event was very good, and so was Steen vs. Sailas Young. So I can't pick my favorite match of the night. You would have to see the PPV to judge for yourself.
My favorite moment of the night was when Cedric Alexander was back body dropped into the edge of the ring.  Wow, just f*cking...wow!!
The only complaint I have would be the weird camera angles. It seems like they focused a little too close to the wrestlers at times. I think that got better as the show went on, but it was still a little distracting.
My grade for the PPV A- and I can't wait for the next ROH PPV.

WWE Payback and RAW review

WWE Payback was a couple of nights ago and unfortunately no titles changed hands. Which I wouldn't have predicted. No I thought that the US title was going to change hands, but that was not the case.
Overall the PPV was a little above average. I say that based on 2 matches. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Evolution vs. The Shield. Both matches were damn good and went in directions I didn't see coming. I didn't think that the Evolution would lose that badly. And I didn't expect as much carnage as the Cena and Wyatt match presented us with.  They really made the PPV worth it.  Seeing that I said that the PPV was a little above average. That means that I give it an overall rating of a C+.

Onto Monday Night RAW; I don't usually review RAW, but there are a couple of reasons why I am today. Reason 1: I was there in the audience. Reason 2: Batistia quitting. Reason 3: Seth Rollins "selling out."
I thought the overall show was pretty good. It had some funny moments, like John Cena insulting Stephanie, and of course Damien Sandow. Who was hilarious. It was a little boring in the middle, but that could because I was tired, so the show being "boring" was probably my fatique and not the fault of the product. But let's move to the highlights. Batista quitting; I didn't see that coming. Seth Rollins selling out; I REALLY didn't see that coming.  Bravo WWE, bravo. And that's why I keep watching, cause you never know what's going to happen. So keep it up WWE.

TNA references a long forgotten song

If you've been watching TNA lately, you know that MVP has turned heel and has acquired the assistance of Bobby Lashley and Kenny King. This "power" trio doesn't have a collective name...yet. And I haven't come up with a good one either, but I'm sure they'll give some kind of name sooner or later. They don't have a name but they do have a potiential slogan or tag line. "Money, power and respect...it's the key to life." Does that sound familar to anyone else? If you were around for the late 1990's, you might remember a rap group called the "LOX." If you don't remember them, that's ok, because I barely remember them myself. They had a few "hits." One of them was a little song called, "Money, power, respect."

Not saying this is a good or bad thing. It probably won't be on a TNA T-shirt. I just like pointing out things like this. And who knows, if this works, they might go with another tagline; Cash rules everything around me (C.R.E.A.M). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrsfJHLx5YA

NTWA: Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan WM VI

If you're reading this then you already know about the passing of the Ultimate Warrior yesterday. Just hours after his appearance on Monday Night Raw. Like many of you I was a Ultimate Warrior fan back in the day. The character was bigger than life at times, which makes him so memorable. I won't go on and on about what the character meant to the wrestling world. Instead I'm going to write about what I think was his best match. Some have said bad things about this match, but as a little kid this match was awesome and even now I think this match is really good. Is it the best match I ever seen? No. Were Hogan and Warrior the best technical wrestlers at that time? Hell no, but they knew their strengths and the used them very well and they turned it up, because it was WM.  Plus this match was champion vs. champion. Does it get much bigger than that? I don't think so.  I personally think it holds up and is one of the best championship matches in WM history.

Thanks for the memories Warrior #ultimaterespect

WWE Wrestlemania 30 review

So what'd you think about WM 30?? Did it deliever or did it fall flat? Of course the answer is a matter of opinion. Let's look at some of the good, the bad and the ugh from last night's event. First the good, no solo musical performances outside of people's entrance music, that saved a lot of time. HHH entrance was  very good. The opening was also good, it didn't cut into anyones time and it was good to see 3 icons in the ring at the same time. WWE network was able to keep up with the live feed, with an occasional hiccup, but nothing major and no loss of feed.  The last good thing, Cesaro getting a push...I hope. I was hoping for a Cesaro swing on the big show, but a pick and toss him out of the ring was just as good.

Now for the bad. The placement of matches. Why for the love of sports was the Diva's match AFTER Undertaker vs. Lesnar?? REGARDLESS of the out come of that match. There was no way the diva's were gonna be able to follow that. Unless they pulled out the chairs, kindo sticks, barbwire, and thumb tacks., but WWE would never do in a Diva's match.  That match should've been second and the battle royal should've been after Taker and Lesnar.

And lastly the ugh.  One title changed hands last night and somehow AJ was able to defeat the ENTIRE divas' division in one match....ugh.  I like AJ, but come on. And of course, the end of the streak. Where do I begin? I'll start with a question. Why? Why did they end the streak? Was it Taker's idea or did they make him do it? And for what purpose? To push Brock? I know so many questions, but let's forget about that and let's address the elephant in the room. That being, that the match was boring. It was slow and not paced well at all. If that was Taker's last match it was possibly his worse WM match. Defintely the worse one in the last 5 years.  Because of how that match ended, the energy just completely left the Super/Silver Dome. I mean it was silent. So many people were in total shock, awe, and disbelief. WWE is lucky, that the energy eventually came back. Cause I wasn't too sure that it would.

Overall. I can't say that WM 30 delieverd any GOOD memorable moments. Ok D. Bryan became champ. I'll give you that one, but that's just one. Were there any others? Not really. It was average, which WM shouldn't be. It's supposed to be the show case of the immortals, but I guess that's what you get when you only pay $9.99/month.

I give WM 30 a D+. Do better WWE, do better!!

WWE WM 30 predictions

It's upon us, Wrestlemania 30. I'm not sure if there are going to be musical performances. I hope not, unless they are playing someone's entrance music. But I do know that there will be wrestling(duh),and  hopefully there will be some great matches. No I mean GREAT matches. Match(es) we will be talking about for months and possibly years later. This we will have to wait to see.  My predictions for tonight...? Pain. That's a movie reference ;-)
Predictions:
1. I'm thinking Los Matadores will retain, but since I don't want that to happen. I'm going to say we'll have new tag champs. The Real Americans....we the people!!
2. Hard to say who will win between Cena and Wyatt. I feel that Wyatt will win, with the help of his "sheep"
3. Bryan will beat HHH. If that doesn't happen, there will be a VERY angry WWE universe.
4. The Undertaker defeats Brock Lesnar. Period.
5. The Shield defeats Kane & Outlaws
6. Big Show is the favorite to win, but I think that is too obvious. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Dolph Ziggler will win the Andre the giant trophy.
7. I don't want AJ to retain, but who will defeat her? Maybe Tamina...? I don't think so. I'll say Naomi will be champ.
8. The winner of the main event...? Daniel Bryan of course!!! Who else could it be? Batista? hahaha. NO! NO! NO!

The matches of the night should be the main event, the shield vs. kane/outlaws and Undertaker vs. Lesnar.

Happy Mania

NTWA: The Shield vs. Wyatt Family 3/3/14

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEI31gGlxew

This match was WM worthy. Maybe the ending wasn't but the match itself was crazy good. I do mean crazy. First we have 2 "heel" factions having a rematch after a PPV. Which you don't see that often. Second the pace was completely different from your standard tag team match. It felt innovate and new, again you don't see that too often either. I think they were trying to put on a great show in Chicago, because CM Punk wasn't there. I think they succeded. And this match, tried to steal the show and I think they succeded because it was awesome.

CM Punk not returning...?

This isn't news that CM Punk has left WWE. We've heard about it on the sheets and the internet.  I know plenty of people are on CM's side, but now I see a growing trend of people who are not on his side. They probably feel "cheated" that they won't be able to see him for awhile. And it is hard to say if Punk will come back and if he doesn't, where does he go from here? Back to ROH? Maybe, it's hard to say. I can see how people would be upset with Punk. But shouldn't most people be on his side? He was unhappy with his place of employement...allegedly. If that is the case, can you really blame him for quiting...? There are plenty of people who have quit his or her job because he or she wasn't happy with it.  Regardless of how much money he or she was making. Sometimes money isn't everything. So I guess you can look at it two ways.
1. A man stands up for what he believes in and won't budge from his position. Or 2. He is arrogant, his ego is out of control and he needs to shut up and do his job.
Whatever Punk decides to do, hopefully we'll see him again in a wrestling ring soon.

No Punk and No AJ Styles

We've had three months with the 2 biggest companies not having what I would call there main event players.
I doesn't look like CM Punk is coming back to WWE, anytime soon, or if he ever will. And of course AJ has returned to ROH.  So were does that leave WWE and TNA. WWE seems to have rebounded pretty well without Punk.  They've seemed to have made him a non factor and you don't hear too many CM Punk chants from the crowds lately. That may change during WM 30 and the RAW afterwards, because those crowds can be quite verbal.
Now on to TNA, I feel that TNA wasn't using AJ to his full potiential before his departure. Maybe he felt the same way, but what is missing from TNA without AJ Styles? Honestly, not a whole lot. They've still got average stories, average matches, with some not so average stuff thrown in there. I don't think 1 man can make the product better. It takes many women and men to make it better. This doesn't mean I don't miss AJ. I do. But like WWE, TNA has found a way to rebound and work with the talent they've got.

TNA Lockdown 2014 Review

It's been a little while since the last posting. Guess I've been watching too much WWE network, but I'm not here to talk about that. Let's talk about last night's PPV, Lockdown.  Well....I guess I'll start with what I liked about the PPV. I did like introducing new wrestlers or international wrestlers to the American audience. Tigre Uno vs. Manik was very good, better than I expected. I didn't know what to expect, but I was very entertained. James vs. Gunner was also good, again I didn't know what to expect, but they put on a solid match. I did like that all the matches were inside the cage and not a few matches like they did last year.

What I didn't like? Well no titles changed hands. Ugh. And if you don't know. I hate it when that happens. What else? I didn't like Dixie coming out and talking on the mic. She said so much but didn't say anything of value. It was blah blah blah. Who cares?

Best match of the night: That's a tie between Tigre Uno vs. Manik and Gunner vs. Storm.
Worst match of the night: Lethal Lockdown.

I feel that this pick deserves an explanation. Once Lethal Lockdown starts, it becomes harder to tell what is going on. It gets chaotic and I suppose that is the point, but I don't feel like they didn't anything great. There were a few spots here and there, but they didn't keep going. It had a lot of potiental to be an exciting match, but besides "Willow" jumping off the cage and Davey Richards getting his head driven into a steel chair. Nothing really exciting happened. It was kind of boring until they got close to the end, but that's when all the good stuff started to happen. I just feel like they wasted an opprotunity to make it much better than it was and for that reason; I think it was the worse match of the night.

2014 Royal Rumble review

Before I talk about the matches/outcomes. Let's talk about the Pittsburg crowd. The crowd was insane, in both good and bad. Good, because they had so much enegry and it usually makes the show better when the attending audience really gets into the matches. The bad part was all that energy was dedicated to 1 man Daniel Bryan. Well maybe two men, D. Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. If you weren't one of those 2, you pretty much sucked, according to the crowd reaction.  Once the crowd realized that D. Bryan and Dolph Ziggler weren't going to win the RR. They pretty much booed everyone else out of the building especially the guy who won the RR. I don't ever remember a crowd booing the RR and/or the winner.  Crazy.

But let's move on to the PPV and it's quality. I was a little dissapointed in the RR match. No real big surprises. Kevin Nash and JBL were the "surprise" competitors. Which I don't think was a good surprise. Especially since JBL lasted maybe 60seconds, maybe. Sheamus returned, which was cool, but no Y2J, no Christian, no Undertaker(I wasn't really expecting him, but still) They did have a guy from NXT that nobody knew, and a bull....so good move there WWE....

All and all this was a good PPV. It had good to great matches, despite what the crowd was chanting. Titles did change hands and that's alway a good thing. Great match between B Wyatt and D. Bryan. Dare I say a contender for match of the year? Why not?

Final grade for this PPV a  (B-)

Royal Rumble

Hey everyone!

It's been a long time but I will do better about blogging in 2014.

It's the Royal Rumble! It's my FAVORITE pay per view of all time! I love the excitement.

I'm honestly not sure who will win. I'd love to see like a Kofi Kingston to win but for some reason WWE won't push a mid-carder over the top. I hope Batista does not win as I hate when they bring people back and push them to the top. It annoys me and I'm sure the young guys as well! I don't think CM Punk will win. They are doing the most with this first entry thing BUT he will be among the last few standing. I think an interesting twist will be with the Shield. Will this be the night that Roman Reigns leaves them? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..............

SIDE NOTE: #2 is the worse spot. You are in there just as long as #1 but get NONE of the glory in the record books, lol. But I digress.......

With there only being one belt now, I think the winner will be a predictable main eventer. I think the other matches outcome will be a predictor for who wins the Rumble.

SIDE NOTE: I wonder how many throw away spots they are gonna give!!! It's fun to watch though.

Ok, I really don't know who will win so my prediction will be: Daniel Bryan. But my prediction is subject to change, LOL.

Ok:
Rhodes Brothers v New Age Outlaws
First of all let's call them the OLD age outlaws. Why the heck are they here every week now and WHY IN THE WORLD do they have a title shot. That's a big ole slap in the face to teams like the Uso's and Prime Time Players. They better not win.
Prediction: Rhodes Brothers
Who I want to win: Rhodes Brothers

Daniel Bryan v Bray Wyatt
I don't get why they had him join the Wyatt family. Didn't make much sense and didn't even do it for long enough to make an impact. Hopefully they will end this foolishness tonight.
Prediction: Daniel Byan
Who I want to win: Daniel Bryan

Big Show v Brock Lesnar
I love the fierceness of the Big Show. I love him as an angry face character. Unfortunately I think they just needed a formadable opponent for Brock Lesnar leading into his predictable feud with Batista and match as Wrestlemania. Does Lesnar really pull in that type of revenue? Sheesh.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar
Who I want to win: Big Show

Orton v Cena
First off I think the first match where they united the belts should have been a traditional style match, but I digress. I think Orton wins and Cena fights Taker at WM. If I'm wrong just flip it and Orton takes on Taker. Someone has to!!
Prediction: Randy Orton
Who I want to win: John Cena

Time to order to vittles! HAPPY WATCHING ALL!!

Terri

2014 Royal Rumble predictions

It's Royal Rumble time. Tonight we'll find out who will headline Wrestlemania. Personally I'm pushing for CM Punk. However I don't think that'll happen, but if not Punk, then who? I don't know. I would say D. Bryan but he's got another match. So unless people are pulling double duty tonight. D. Bryan won't even be in the RR. That would suck. Anyway let's move on the predictions.

Rhodes Brothers def. New Age Outlaws
Bray Wyatt def. Daniel Bryan
Brock Lesnar def Big Show
Randy Orton def John Cena
CM Punk wins the Royal Rumble

Best and Worst of 2013

2013 was a very interesting year in wrestling. People leaving their respected companies, the end of Aces & 8s, Brooke Hogan getting fired etc. etc. etc. Both TNA and WWE started the year off strong, but toward the end they both started to go downhill. Whether it was TNA stealing storylines from WWE or D. Bryan joining the Wyatt Family for some unknown reason.

What was the worse? I personally would say The Rock becoming champion at the Royal Rumble was the worse, but that's my own personally feelings toward The Rock and "veterans" just showing up and getting a title shot and then becoming champion. Maybe Antonio Cesaro teaming up with Zeb Colter. That was out of no where and didn't go together with Zeb's anti immigrant promos. Yea that didn't make sense, but they said the hell with that and kept on going with the team of Antonio, Jack, and Zeb.

Let's see what else. The Main Event Mafia vs. Aces & 8s. That started off well, but then kind of went downhill because it wasn't the MEM that ultimately took down Aces &8's. And wasn't that the goal of reforming the MEM?? In the end MEM disbanded and Aces & 8s kind of imploded. You could argue that MEM started that implosion, but there was no final match with MEM vs. Aces & 8s. Were the loser disbands and is never seen in TNA again. That would've made more since to me.

The best match of 2013, I have to say it was Manik vs. Austin Ares vs. Chris Sabin on 7/4/13 Impact. That was a great match and a great ending.
