Terri's MITB Predictions 2014

Well, well, well, it's me! Long time, no post! My MITB Predictions are posted below. This is hard to call. I've heard information about BNB being injured and not being able to compete so I don't know how that will sway things in that match. The championship match ought to be good because so many of the people don't seem "ready" to be champ, at least by the standards that we have seen WWE do in the past. Should make for a good PPV.

As normal who I want to win and who I predict will win are typically different:
MITB Championship Match
I want-Roman Reigns
Prediction-Randy Orton

MITB Contract Match
I want-Kofi Kingston
Prediction-Bad News Barrett was my prediction but since the injury I'll say Dolph Ziggler

Layla v Summer Ray
I want-Layla
Prediction-Summer Ray

Big E v Rusev
I want-Big E
Prediction-Rusev

Rhodes Brothers v Rybaxel
I want-Rhodes Brothers
Prediction-Rhodes Brothers

Naomi v Paige
I want-NAOMI!!!! but I think Cameron will interfere and break up the Funkadactals
Prediction-Paige

WWE Money in the bank 2014 predictions

This may be one of the hardest PPVs to predict. I really have no idea who is going to win either MITB matches. I'm not sure WWE will take a chance, or they will go their regular guys i.e. John Cena or Randy Orton. So I'm going to take a few shots in the dark and hope that I'm right.

1) Rusev def. Big E.
2) Stardust/Golddust def. Rybaxel
3) Summer Ray def. Layla
4) Paige def. Naomi
5) MITB winner Seth Rollins
6) New Champion: John Cena

ROH Best in the World 2014

I don't know how long it's been since I've blogged about ROH.  Unfortunately it's not on in the state that I live, but with PPV all things are possible. And this was ROH first ever live PPV on TV. How did it stack up? Extremely well. ROH delievers something that the other two companies do not. What is that? Innovation. I don't mean innovation as far as storylines. I mean innovation inside the ring.  If you've been watching wrestling for decades like myself. You want to see something different, something new, something fresh. This PPV didn't waste your time with filler or a lot of talking. There was a short interview with a new talent that they signed, but that was it.
I guess I haven't talked about the matches, well if you hadn't already figured it out. I enjoyed all the matches. Some were better than others, but as far as picking a favorite match. I'm not sure I could pick just one. Maybe the first one, but then again the main event was very good, and so was Steen vs. Sailas Young. So I can't pick my favorite match of the night. You would have to see the PPV to judge for yourself.
My favorite moment of the night was when Cedric Alexander was back body dropped into the edge of the ring.  Wow, just f*cking...wow!!
The only complaint I have would be the weird camera angles. It seems like they focused a little too close to the wrestlers at times. I think that got better as the show went on, but it was still a little distracting.
My grade for the PPV A- and I can't wait for the next ROH PPV.

WWE Payback and RAW review

WWE Payback was a couple of nights ago and unfortunately no titles changed hands. Which I wouldn't have predicted. No I thought that the US title was going to change hands, but that was not the case.
Overall the PPV was a little above average. I say that based on 2 matches. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Evolution vs. The Shield. Both matches were damn good and went in directions I didn't see coming. I didn't think that the Evolution would lose that badly. And I didn't expect as much carnage as the Cena and Wyatt match presented us with.  They really made the PPV worth it.  Seeing that I said that the PPV was a little above average. That means that I give it an overall rating of a C+.

Onto Monday Night RAW; I don't usually review RAW, but there are a couple of reasons why I am today. Reason 1: I was there in the audience. Reason 2: Batistia quitting. Reason 3: Seth Rollins "selling out."
I thought the overall show was pretty good. It had some funny moments, like John Cena insulting Stephanie, and of course Damien Sandow. Who was hilarious. It was a little boring in the middle, but that could because I was tired, so the show being "boring" was probably my fatique and not the fault of the product. But let's move to the highlights. Batista quitting; I didn't see that coming. Seth Rollins selling out; I REALLY didn't see that coming.  Bravo WWE, bravo. And that's why I keep watching, cause you never know what's going to happen. So keep it up WWE.
