TNA Slammiversary 2013 results and review

Unfortunately I didn't have time to post any predictions prior to the PPV. Which was a good thing, because I would have gotten a lot of match outcomes wrong. For starters, I didn't think that Chris Sabin would have one the X-division championship. I'm glad he did, but I thought Kenny King would hold the belt a little longer.
Overall I thought this was a very good PPV. Most (>90%) of the matches were very good; some of them were great. Match of the year great? Maybe, maybe not. We'll see how the rest of the year goes. My only complaints about the  PPV would be that there was too much talking. I swear Hogan and Bully Ray talked way too much. WAY TOO MUCH. I know they were killing time, but you could do that with a video package of some kind. The other thing that annoyed me was Brooke Hogan coming to her husband's aid...kinda. First off, why would she do that? She can't still love the guy, right? Plus it played no part in the outcome of the match. So what was the point....? It made her look like an idoit and her dress didn't help matters. As my wife put it. "She looks like the great pumpkin." I thought she looked like a Florida orange, but great pumpkin works too.
The surprise match of the night was the last knockout standing match. That match was pretty damn good. I was pleasantly surprised and I think the crowd was too. Kudos to those two ladies, because they almost stole the show.
The worst match of the night would probably be the TV title match. Not much to say about the match, it was dull.
The best match of the night....that's a hard one. The last four matches were very good. But I have to pick one. So I'll go with the 4 way tag team title match. I didn't care for the outcome but the action, timing, and pace of the match was great and worked so well. That I have to go with that as the best match of the night.

Overall grade for TNA Slammiversary (A-) Good job TNA keep it up.
